Women's Ministry
Here at The COGON we believe that there are different types of ministries, but one Lord. Our ministries aim to glorify that one Lord. Through our ministries we edify and serve each other through exhortation, prayer and encouragement. Through these ministries we aim serve others in a way that will lead them to the father and push them to higher levels of sanctification. Below are a list of the different ministries and groups here at The COGON.
The COGON's Lead Pastor
The COGON is lead by Pastor Bienfils Pierre. Pastor Pierre has dedicated his life to serve the Lord. Alongside him is his wife, Louvia Pierre-Erasme and the church committee who offers their consistent support for The COGON.

Bible Study
We Hold Creole and English Bible Studies.

Our Creole Bible Study is held by our Lead Pastor every Tuesday nights at 7:30 over the prayerline.
Our English Bible Study is held by our Youth Leaders Sunday Nights at 7:30 via Zoom.

Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry consist of dedicated and Godly men who seek to glorify God in their life and through ministry. The men's group meet every Thursday at 7:30 at The Parsonage.
Dance Ministry
COGON's Dance Team glorifies the Lord in character, lifestyle and through dance. Our dance ministry is an outreach opportunity for the youth and everyone involved to unify the church in the arts. Teaching praise, worship and consistency, the dance ministry team promotes individual growth and fellowship. Practice is held every in person on Wednesdays at 8pm for all ages!
Worship Team
Our worship team consist of worshippers who aid in the grand service by singing backup and encouraging the assembly through genuine worship.

Our worship team understands that worship is a lifestyle and not a show.

The Media Team
The media team works diligently to properly represent Christ through media. Media holds great power and is oftentimes used to create a narrative that sticks with its viewers long after they have clicked off.
We seek to push the narrative of Christ, all the while keeping you updated on recent church news and activities.
Children's Ministry
Our Children's ministry aim to make the children interested and committed to learning the truths of the bible. Our Sunday school teachers teach bible basics as well as the meaning of salvation. Our teachers engage with the children and take their ideas and interests and implement them into lesson plans. We are committed to raising up a generation of biblically sound and spiritually connected children of God. Sunday School starts every Sunday morning at 10:45am.
Women's Ministry
Our Women's ministry consist of married, prayerful and dedicated women of God who serve as examples to the youth through their godly character. They lead our prayer line every Monday night at 7:30, all are welcomed to participate in this time of prayer. Led by First Lady Louvia Pierre, this group is also responsible for visits to the sick and have their own choir.
Youth's Ministry
Our dedication to raise up a generation of God fearing people drives our youth ministry. Our youth ministry offers a variety of different spiritual programs and events.

Our youth group leads our prayer line service every Friday night, except 4th Fridays, at 7:30.
​
In our meetings we encourage the Youth to seek Christ. The youth learn about godly lifestyle, sound doctrine, charity and much more. Youth Group is open to unmarried adults starting from the 13.
Music Ministry
The COGON's musicians are dedicated men of God who have surrendered their life and their talents to God. Just as David played before the Lord, our musicians pour our their heart to God through the use of musical instruments.
Welcome Committee
Our welcome committee is responsible for hospitality. We believe that every soul is important. Our welcome committee is here to pray with you and actively display the character of Christ through love.

The welcome committee meets on the fourth Monday of every month. Ushers and other members of the welcome committee are welcomed to attend.
